Launch of the Acropolis Restoration Service Library Catalogue.

The new Library Catalogue in openABEKT launched at an event organized at the Acropolis Museum on January 22, 2016, by the Acropolis Restoration Service and the National Documentation Centre.
The Catalogue, available at, offers rich content belonging to the Restoration Service which was migrated here from their previous database. There are 689 records in english, mainly on the subjects of restoration and archaeology, whereas Greek content amounts to 1909 records. The Catalogue offers open access to the content in a clean and user-friendly interface, while emphasizing the exploration and discovery of content using multi-faceted search and filters.  The collaboration between the two organizations resulted also to a vocabulary too, with 6.196 entries, mostly bilingual and semantically enriched.
